The all-new Honda NWX125 electric scooter has a sporty and dynamic design.
According to the latest publication by the National Office of Intellectual Property of Vietnam, Honda Vietnam has registered the design patent for a new motorcycle model. As revealed in the published images, this is the all-new NWX 125 electric scooter recently introduced by Wuyang Honda in China.
In the domestic market, the NWX 125 is offered in three variants: CBS, ABS, and ABS-Smartkey, with prices ranging from 9,490 to 11,490 Chinese yuan (approximately 34.4 to 41.6 million VND).

The Honda NWX 125 can be considered a “close sibling” to the Vario. It has dimensions of 1,760 mm in length, 800 mm in width, and 1,110 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 1,246 mm. This makes it shorter but wider and taller than the Vario (1,198 x 679 x 1,066 mm). With a ground clearance of 133 mm (compared to Vario 125’s 131 mm) and a lightweight construction of 104 kg (Vario: 113 kg), the NWX 125 offers agile handling and easy maneuverability.
The scooter’s design is characterized by sharp and muscular lines, departing from the curvier aesthetics of some modern scooters. The LED headlights form a distinctive V-shape, enhancing its modern appeal and providing excellent illumination in low-light conditions.
The taillights and turn signals are also elegantly designed, ensuring the NWX 125 stands out on the road. Additionally, it offers a diverse range of color options, including Black, Orange, White, Silver, and Ocean Blue, catering to various taste preferences.

In terms of features, the Honda NWX 125 boasts a host of modern amenities. It incorporates a keyless ignition system and a convenient USB Type-C charging port, similar to the Honda Air Blade scooter. The digital instrument cluster provides a comprehensive view of the scooter’s operational information.
The under-seat storage is spacious enough to accommodate a helmet, and there are two additional open compartments in the front. The flat floorboard, reminiscent of the Honda Vario, facilitates effortless movement while riding.
Furthermore, the NWX 125 is equipped with an anti-lock braking system (ABS) for the front wheel, enhancing safety and inspiring confidence during braking.
Powering the Honda NWX 125 is Honda’s new ESP125 engine. With a displacement of 124 cc, this engine produces 9.38 horsepower and 10 Nm of torque. Coupled with a continuously variable transmission (CVT), it delivers a smooth and quiet riding experience. The scooter can reach a top speed of 90 km/h, and its 5.7-liter fuel tank, combined with a fuel economy of 1.85 liters per 100 km, makes it more fuel-efficient than the Vario (2.16 liters per 100 km).
