Alongside mainstream vehicles, the luxury car segment in Vietnam is also joining the price reduction race to boost sales in the final quarter of Q2 2025. The models on offer mainly come from the two German brands, Mercedes-Benz and BMW.
Starting with Mercedes-Benz, the brand is offering cash discounts of up to VND 60 million for their electric vehicle range until the end of June. In addition to the cash incentive, customers can opt for a free 2-year charging package at EVOne stations associated with the brand.

The models included in this offer are the EQS 450+ V1, EQS 580 4MATIC, EQB 250, EQE 500 4MATIC SUV, EQS 500 4MATIC SUV, Maybach EQS 680 SUV, and two versions of the new all-electric G-Class, the G580 EQ.
Furthermore, Mercedes-Benz Vietnam is still offering special prices for 2022 VIN vehicles in the C-Class, E-Class, GLB, GLE ranges, and select Mercedes-AMG models: A35 4MATIC, GLA 45 S 4MATIC+, GLB 35 4MATIC, GLE 53 4MATIC+ Coupé, and GT 53 4MATIC+ Coupé FL.
For instance, the C-Class is now priced at VND 1.599-2.099 billion, a reduction of VND 100-200 million from its original launch price. Meanwhile, the E-Class is now offered at VND 2.09-2.95 billion, down from VND 2.159-3.209 billion.
Notably, according to some Mercedes-Benz dealerships in Hanoi, the Mercedes-Benz E300 AMG is being offered at around VND 2.3 billion, which is approximately VND 650 million lower than the brand’s promotional price. This discount, however, only applies to select 2023 VIN vehicles.

The discounts for the two lower trim levels, the E180 and E200 Exclusive, will vary from VND 200-300 million depending on the dealership. Post-discount prices for these models are now at VND 1.8-2 billion.
This move is seen as an inventory clearance strategy to make way for the upcoming new-generation E-Class set to enter the Vietnamese market. Previously, in April 2024, a new model was spotted at a vehicle emission testing center in Hanoi.
Turning to BMW, their distributor, Thaco Auto, is offering to waive up to 100% of the registration fee until the end of June. The BMW 3 Series sedan (priced around VND 1.5-2 billion) receives support equivalent to 50% of the registration fee, amounting to over VND 100 million.
For the BMW X3 (priced from VND 1.8 billion), customers are offered a 50% discount on the registration fee, totaling nearly VND 200 million. Meanwhile, the BMW 520i (from VND 1.9 billion) and BMW X5 (from VND 3.9 billion) benefit from a reduction of approximately VND 150 million.
According to Thaco, the new-generation BMW 5 Series and X3 will be launched in Vietnam this weekend. Thus, the significant price reduction for these two models aims to clear inventory to make way for the new arrivals.
Additionally, three imported models, the BMW 430i Gran Coupe, BMW 530i M Sport, and BMW X4, receive full registration fee support, potentially saving customers over VND 300 million. The X6 and Z4 models are offered a 50% discount on the registration fee, equivalent to VND 228 million and VND 166.5 million, respectively.
BMW’s most prestigious models, including the X5, X7, 7 Series, 8 Series, i7 electric car, and high-performance BMW M vehicles, also benefit from a waiver of up to 100% of the registration fee. Among these, the XM is BMW’s most powerful and expensive SUV in Vietnam, priced at over VND 10 billion.
Another German brand, Audi, is also offering direct discounts of up to VND 130 million for their Q5 SUV in June. The Q5 is an imported model, officially distributed in Vietnam, with a starting price of VND 2.39 billion.

[On Seat 17] ‘Why Opting for an SUV Makes Sense for Families with Young Children’
“According to expert Doan Anh Dung, families with young children should opt for SUVs or crossovers to provide a spacious and airy environment. With new regulations coming into force on January 1, 2026, children under the age of 10 will not be permitted to sit in the front seat. This means that larger vehicles with ample rear seating become a practical and safety-conscious choice for families.”
