Binh Duong ward is formed from the merger of four wards: Hoa Phu, Phu Tan, Phu My, and Phu Chanh of Tan Uyen city. The new ward is expected to have 23 facilities with a total area of 27,005.04 square meters, including seven facilities from Hoa Phu ward, 12 from Phu My ward, four from Phu Tan ward, and six facilities transferred from Phu Chanh ward.

After the merger, Binh Duong ward will have 145 civil servants, including leaders of the Party Committee, People’s Council, and People’s Committee, as well as specialists from the Party bloc, Fatherland Front, and mass organizations, and state administrative specialists.

The equipment and facilities of the four wards basically meet the requirements for the work of the 145 civil servants after the merger.

Due to the large number of civil servants after the merger, Thu Dau Mot city proposed separating the offices of the Party-Fatherland Front bloc and the state administrative bloc. They also suggested using the current People’s Committee hall of Hoa Phu ward as the administrative service center of Binh Duong ward.

Speaking at the conclusion of the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Loi commended and appreciated the proactive spirit of Thu Dau Mot city in preparing the necessary conditions for the new wards to operate as directed by the Central Government and the province.

Mr. Loi emphasized that the new ward, in its operation, should prioritize administrative procedures to achieve the goal of being “close to the people” and better serving the people and businesses. He also suggested considering the reasonable use of old headquarters for education, healthcare, and community activities.

At the same time, he requested Thu Dau Mot city to continue coordinating closely with relevant provincial departments in arranging infrastructure, digitizing records, allocating personnel, and preparing the necessary conditions for the experimental operation of the new Binh Duong ward on June 15, before its official establishment on July 1.

According to the reporter’s findings, Binh Duong ward has basically completed the arrangement and deployment of key personnel.
