An insightful discussion event on next-generation comprehensive information system protection strategies and quick data recovery methods for businesses following cyberattacks was held in collaboration with Palo Alto Networks Vietnam, FPT Corporation, Elite Technology JSC, and Eclypsium. The event was graced by nearly 100 esteemed guests, including IT leaders and cybersecurity experts, with a notable presence of Mr. Nguyen Vuong Khoa, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Fonos, in the CxO panel discussion.
In his opening remarks, Mr. Le Quang Vinh Phuc, Senior Vice President and Deputy Director of FPT IS Enterprise Division, FPT Corporation, emphasized: “The explosion of AI and cloud computing is reshaping how enterprises operate and their work environments, bringing new growth opportunities but also unprecedented security risks. Updating to new-generation security trends such as AI-driven platforms, centralized management, and automated response should be a top priority to help businesses proactively detect and effectively respond to emerging threats.”
AI-enhanced SOC: A Solution for the Multi-cloud Environment
The cloud environment presents new challenges for Security Operations Centers (SOCs). Compared to traditional infrastructure, SOCs in the cloud environment have more boundaries to monitor, with the number of assets to oversee increasing by about tenfold, leading to a significant surge in alerts. The high level of dispersion and automation in the cloud environment makes security management much more difficult and complex. In this context, AI can be a pivotal solution. When integrated into SOCs, AI enables intelligent data processing and analysis, offering a user-friendly approach to swiftly and accurately tackling the challenges posed by the multi-cloud environment. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Cybersecurity Consultant at FPT IS, FPT Corporation, shared these insights at the workshop titled “AI-enhanced SOC: Building Sustainable Cloud Security Capabilities.”
“At FPT, we have strategized and gradually integrated AI into SOC tools and processes to enhance their effectiveness. AI in SOC plays a crucial role in predictive threat detection, alert classification and filtering to minimize false positives, automated response to predefined scenarios, and real-time threat intelligence provisioning. For instance, by applying LLM to initial alert triage, we’ve achieved a time-saving improvement of 65-80%,” Dr. Binh shared regarding the significance and practical applications of AI in SOC.

Cloud and AI: The New-generation Security Powerhouse
At the technology conference, Mr. La Hong Nguyen, Solution Architect, Cloud Technology Division, FPT Smart Cloud (FPT Corporation), shared insights on security trends in enterprise infrastructure transformation to the cloud, especially with AI taking a central role.
According to Mr. Nguyen, next-generation cloud computing can boost enterprise operational efficiency by 30-40%, automate 30-35% of IT tasks, and reduce system ownership costs by up to 20%. However, to achieve sustainable effectiveness, enterprises need flexible security architectures deeply integrated into each infrastructure and application layer—a requirement that traditional models can no longer fulfill.
“In the AI era, security must be intelligent, adaptive, and pervasive from the edge to the core, from operations to application development,” emphasized Mr. Nguyen. FPT Cloud currently offers the ASPM solution, enabling enterprises to establish, monitor, and adjust security policies during the software development phase. As a result, risks are identified and addressed early on, minimizing the potential for vulnerability exploitation post-deployment.
FPT not only provides robust cloud infrastructure but also accompanies enterprises in building a comprehensive security ecosystem to safeguard data and digital value chains flexibly and sustainably.

Eclypsium: Securing from the Hardware Up
Offering a different perspective, Mr. Ray Tan, Eclypsium’s Asia Region Technology Solutions Architect, asserted that “cybersecurity is not just about software or the cloud; it starts from deep within the microchip—the last but pivotal piece in the protection puzzle.”
Eclypsium delivers cutting-edge hardware and firmware security solutions, enabling early detection of vulnerabilities and potential attacks at the device level. Combined with an AI-driven platform, this solution automates response and centralizes management, offering comprehensive protection for enterprises to confidently operate in the digital age.
