Opening the event, Mr. Pham Van Khanh, Chairman of Vinatech Group’s Board of Directors, said, “The inauguration of the new factory aims not only to expand production but also to lay the foundation for the development of smart warehouse models and comprehensive digital transformation. We believe that to avoid falling behind and enhance our competitive position, enterprises need to proactively upgrade their systems and be ready to adapt to the global automation trend. At Vinatech, we will bring lean and resource-optimizing solutions to our customers.”

Mr. Chu Van Thang, Head of Hoa Binh Industrial Zone Management Board, shared his thoughts at the ceremony.
Mr. Chu Van Thang, Head of the Hoa Binh Industrial Zone Management Board, stated that Vinatech’s automated warehouse shelf factory is one of the key projects, playing a vital role in boosting the local economy and creating job opportunities for laborers in the area.
The Hoa Binh factory is built on an area of over 20,000 square meters, meeting the standards of a modern shelf factory, with an annual output capacity of 30,000 tons. The entire production line is highly automated, applying advanced technologies that meet the ISO 9001:2015 quality standard, including automatic robot welding machines, CNC laser cutting machines, automatic electrostatic painting lines, and forming rolling lines. Products are rigorously inspected before leaving the factory, ensuring consistent, durable, and aesthetically pleasing quality that meets the stringent standards of both domestic and international markets.
Vinatech Hoa Binh factory will focus on smart warehouse shelf products, notably the AS/RS automated storage and retrieval system, which integrates a flexible conveyor system for incoming and outgoing goods and warehouse management software (WMS), along with the Shuttle Four Way shelf system and other automated shelf products.
Vinatech’s smart warehouse solutions have been effectively solving complex problems for businesses, from high warehouse costs and limited storage space to inventory inaccuracies and a lack of real-time data control. The application of AI, IoT sensors, and WMS software will enable precise cargo control, optimizing 90% of storage space and streamlining resources. This is a crucial factor in helping enterprises accelerate digital transformation and flexibly operate warehouses in the context of fierce market competition.
With a modern factory complex, a comprehensive digital technology foundation, and a product development strategy that meets market demands, Vinatech Group is aiming for exceptional growth in the 2025-2030 period. According to the plan, the Hoa Binh factory will serve as the production center for core equipment, serving the smart warehouse ecosystem developed by Vinatech.
Implementing the SAP S/4HANA System, Moving Towards Comprehensive Digital Transformation
Also, within the framework of the event, Vinatech Vietnam Joint Stock Group successfully operated the SAP S/4HANA system – a new-generation ERP platform deployed in cooperation with FPT IS. This marks an important step towards establishing a synchronized and efficient management foundation, ready to achieve sustainable development goals and regional expansion.

Vinatech Group’s SAP S/4HANA Go-live realizes digital transformation goals.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Dang Truong Thach, Deputy General Director of FPT IS, shared, “Vinatech Group is a pioneer in the shelf industry, investing simultaneously in production infrastructure and a modern ERP system. SAP S/4HANA will help Vinatech standardize all operational processes according to international standards, from resource management, production, and finance to operational optimization. FPT IS is honored to accompany Vinatech Group on the journey of realizing digital transformation goals, turning technology into a competitive advantage, and enhancing its position in both domestic and international markets.”
The inauguration of the new factory in Hoa Binh, along with the operation of the SAP S/4HANA system, not only demonstrates Vinatech Group’s long-term investment commitment but is also expected to be a launchpad for the enterprise to accelerate its transformation and solidify its position as a leading manufacturer of automated shelves and smart warehouse solutions.
“Vietnam and Japan: Collaborating for a Stronger Supporting Industry”
“Vietnam is home to over 6,000 operational support industries, yet they only meet approximately 10% of the domestic market’s component demands. This supply ratio remains consistent when catering to Japanese businesses, with a meager 15.7% of their total supply sourced from these Vietnamese industries. This trend has persistently lingered over the past decade, highlighting an evident gap between supply and demand.”
