Hanoi Police reported that at around 23:28 on June 5th, the city’s Command and Information Center received a report of a house fire at 29 ngõ 1/178 Thai Ha, Dong Da district.
Upon receiving the report, the Command and Information Center dispatched the Dong Da Fire and Rescue team to the scene.

The Fire and Rescue team successfully rescued and guided 2 adults and 5 children to safety.
On the evening of June 5th, a fire also broke out at a flower shop located at 2 Nguyen Thi Dinh, Cau Giay district. Witnesses at the scene reported that they noticed smoke coming from the house and tried to alert the owners, but to no avail.
“We informed the Cau Giay Ward Police and the Fire Department by calling 114, and we attempted to break down the door to put out the fire. However, the exterior door was a roller shutter, which made it challenging to break through,” a witness recounted.
Neighbors and the local police tried to extinguish the fire using handheld fire extinguishers and water, but their efforts were unsuccessful. The fire raged on, engulfing the first floor of the shop.

Upon receiving the report, the Cau Giay Fire and Rescue team dispatched 4 specialized vehicles and personnel to the scene.
By 23:20, the fire was under control, and the authorities began cooling down the area and inspecting the damaged property.
Fortunately, there were no casualties reported in either of the fires. The extent of the property damage is currently being assessed, and investigations into the cause of the fires are ongoing.
