Reaching the Pinnacle of Perfection

For the first time organized in Da Nang, the Michelin Guide 2025 has just announced the list of selected dining establishments in three cities: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang. This year, Vietnam boasts a total of 181 culinary destinations, including 9 starred restaurants (1 new and 1 upgraded), 63 Bib Gourmand addresses (9 new), and 109 Michelin Selected restaurants (14 new).

Dubbed the “Oscars” of the culinary world, the Michelin Guide is renowned globally for its stringent, independent, and confidential evaluation system by a team of anonymous inspectors. In this journey of celebrating culinary excellence, porcelain products play a crucial role in the art of presentation, dining experience, and showcasing the creativity of chefs.

The presence of over 3,000 Minh Long porcelain products at the Michelin Guide 2025 testifies to the harmony of quality, aesthetics, and experience. When each plate, bowl, spoon, and more are trusted by renowned chefs, highly regarded by international experts, and embraced by discerning diners, it signifies a profound acknowledgment of the brand’s over 55-year-old steadfast journey in elevating the standards of porcelain and honoring cultural values.

Nam Quoc Collection: Imprinting Vietnamese Culture in the International Culinary Arena

At the Michelin Guide 2025, Minh Long introduced a profound cultural imprint through the Nam Quoc Collection (including Artistic Wellness Jars and Wellness Cups). This is the first time the collection has been presented at an international-level event, demonstrating Minh Long’s efforts to spread Vietnamese cultural essence through contemporary artistic forms.

The collection’s centerpiece is eight artistic jars, the fruit of two years of research and creativity. Each jar features three patterned faces: one evoking nostalgic memories, and the other two portraying a contemporary Vietnam, creating a subtle transition between tradition and future. When placed together, the eight jars form a miniature painting of the S-shaped country.

Mr. Sang explains: “We chose Nam Quoc as it embodies the intersection of two refined arts: cuisine and porcelain. Every detail not only beautifies the space but also contributes to narrating Vietnam’s cultural story with utmost respect and pride.”

Additionally, the Nam Quoc Wellness Cups designed by Minh Long served as a spiritual gift for the special guests at Michelin 2025. The cups convey a message of healthy and mindful living, echoing the philosophy of “Drinking water to remember and cherish the things worth preserving”, which Mr. Sang holds dear.

Constant Innovation to Live Up to Expectations

For Minh Long, each collaboration with Michelin marks a new journey of innovation. Without templates or repetition, the brand meticulously considers all elements to ensure that “Vietnamese Essence is perfectly encapsulated in every culinary moment.”

This year, Minh Long opted for a modern and minimalist product line while retaining the depth of Vietnamese identity. This intentional combination aims to accentuate the intricate and delicate nature of dishes crafted by renowned chefs.

Striking aesthetic appeal with Minh Long porcelain’s blue shade

The aesthetic focal point is the blue shade, complemented by the ancient Celadon glaze, considered a significant challenge in the history of ceramics. Minh Long has dedicated nearly 50 years to studying, recreating, and perfecting this glaze, resulting in an ethereal, velvety appearance while retaining a sense of depth and nobility, reflecting the essence of Michelin’s culinary philosophy.

Each dish is a holistic culinary experience

Regarding long-term plans after the Michelin Guide 2025, Mr. Sang shared: “We aspire to continue our collaboration with Michelin-starred restaurants in Vietnam in a more intimate and practical manner, as their design and creative partners. Each restaurant has its unique style and story, and we aim to craft porcelain sets that reflect this spirit: unique, refined, and tailored to each culinary experience.”

This is not merely a product development strategy but a long-term commitment to preserving and disseminating Vietnamese cultural essence, contributing to the global reach of Vietnamese cuisine, with international standards embodied in the brand’s hallmark meticulousness.
