Proposal to Reallocate Houses and Land for School Construction

Currently, Binh Phu Joint Stock Investment Company has 15 component projects in Ward 10 and Ward 11. However, the above projects still owe technical infrastructure, social infrastructure, and many other contents according to the conclusion of the Ho Chi Minh City Inspectorate. There are difficulties and obstacles in continuing the projects.
Vice Chairman of District 6 People’s Committee proposed that Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee establish a working group to review, evaluate, and propose solutions to the existing difficulties and problems.

Regarding the land under the management of sectors and branches in District 6, the Vice Chairman of the District People’s Committee said that the district has sent a written request to consider reallocating assets of houses and land in 8 land lots to the District People’s Committee for the construction of 7 new schools and 1 park.
Socio-economic Bright Spots
Earlier, reporting on the socio-economic results in the first five months of 2025, Chairwoman of the District 6 People’s Committee, Le Thi Thanh Thao, said that the district paid attention to creating favorable conditions for businesses and business households to establish, operate, and develop. The number of newly established businesses and business households increased compared to the same period, contributing to an increase in state budget revenue. There are 7,595 operating enterprises, 21,241 business households, and 38 cooperatives in the district.

Accordingly, the total state budget revenue is estimated at over VND 737 billion, reaching nearly 63% of the estimate (VND 1,175 billion), up nearly 48% over the same period last year. In terms of disbursement of public investment capital, as of May 26, the district has disbursed nearly VND 70 billion, reaching 22.8% of the assigned capital (VND 306.6 billion).
The security and order situation in District 6 is well controlled, with no hotspots, contributing to a safe and stable environment for local socio-economic development.

Up to now, there are no poor households in District 6 according to Ho Chi Minh City’s poverty standards for the 2021-2025 period. The district always pays attention to social security, organizes health care programs for the people, and arranges cultural and artistic activities for the people to enjoy and entertain.
