The scooter market has just welcomed a notable new addition to the 125cc segment with the launch of the 2025 Taitonda Little Karla. This Chinese-made scooter leaves a strong impression with its combination of classic design and extremely competitive pricing.

The standout feature of the 2025 Taitonda Little Karla is its exterior design. The scooter boasts smooth, rounded lines and a full body that evokes the classic Italian scooters of the past. The rear end is particularly distinctive, with a square-shaped taillight that enhances the retro aesthetic. With its bright and youthful color palette, this design stands out from the typical models on the market, appealing to those who favor an elegant and fashionable style. A practical bonus is the seat height of just 700mm, making it accessible and safe for riders of all heights.

The Taitonda Little Karla 2025 offers two engine options to cater to different needs. The Standard version features a K48 engine with a 125cc displacement, delivering a maximum power of 9.12 horsepower and a peak torque of 9.2 Nm. The Premium version is equipped with a T69 engine, also with a 125cc displacement, generating 9.65 horsepower and 9.5 Nm of torque. Despite the modest performance difference, the Premium version is expected to provide a smoother acceleration experience at low speeds.

The Taitonda Little Karla 2025 comes with basic equipment that aligns with its competitive pricing. Standard features include a VA display that shows essential information such as speed, fuel level, and distance, along with a small storage compartment in front that conveniently integrates a USB charging port. The Premium version sees significant upgrades in terms of safety and technology, boasting disc brakes on both front and rear wheels, a combined braking system (CBS) for safer brake force distribution, smooth start technology, and an engine idle stop system (which automatically turns off the engine after idling for more than 3 seconds) to optimize fuel consumption.

In the domestic market, the 2025 Taitonda Little Karla is priced as follows: The Standard version is 4,980 Chinese yuan (approximately 18 million VND), and the Premium version is 5,980 Chinese yuan (approximately 21 million VND). This pricing is especially attractive, equivalent to the cost of a common numbered bike in Vietnam, such as the Honda Wave Alpha. However, the Little Karla offers a 125cc engine and a fashionable scooter design. This scooter is a formidable contender that could shake up the affordable scooter segment if introduced in Vietnam.
