As the new Law on Notarization 2024, consisting of 76 articles across 8 chapters, comes into effect on July 1st, replacing the previous law with a more streamlined structure, we can expect some positive changes.
One notable improvement is the removal of the “Notarization Request Form” from the required documents for notarizing pre-drafted contracts or transactions. This simplifies the process and provides convenience to those seeking notarization services.
Previously, the “Notarization Request Form” was one of the mandatory documents, yet there was no standardized template in the legal document system. Now, the law only requires basic information on the form, such as the requester’s name and address, the content to be notarized, accompanying documents, and details of the notarization organization.
