According to the UOB Vietnam Business Outlook Study, Vietnamese businesses are increasingly recognizing the importance of strategic supply chain management.
A significant 94% of respondents in Vietnam acknowledged the critical nature of efficient supply chain management for their businesses, a proportion that far exceeded that of other countries in the region.
More than 4 in 10 businesses are seeking better connections with suitable technology providers and solutions or easier access to capital and banking solutions to ensure supply chain stability.
As a result, on June 6th in Ho Chi Minh City, UOB Vietnam launched new features for supply chain finance (FSCM) on UOB Infinity, its digital banking platform for corporate customers.
These new features will enable UOB to offer supply chain finance solutions digitally, covering the entire supply chain cycle – from paying for raw materials to production and sales, invoice issuance, and receivables collection, all integrated into one unified platform.
By integrating FSCM features into UOB Infinity, corporate customers in Vietnam can manage their payment transactions, cash management, trade, and supply chain finance with a single login, enhancing convenience and overall control.
The FSCM features also improve operational and financial management efficiency by providing real-time transaction tracking, reducing manual submission of trade documents, streamlining the reconciliation of payables and receivables, automating invoice and financing request processing, and offering customizable risk management parameters tailored to businesses’ needs.
