The Internal Political Security Department of Hanoi’s Public Security has issued administrative fines to two individuals for spreading misinformation about Happy Mom products sold by the FPT Long Chau system.
Prior to this incident, social media platforms were abuzz with claims that the “Happy Mom Health Protective Food” sold at FPT Long Chau pharmacies was counterfeit.
The Internal Political Security Department of Hanoi’s Public Security identified two individuals, T.T.V.A (DOB: 1987, residing in Phuc La, Ha Dong, Hanoi) and N.P.T (DOB: 1994, residing in Lang Thuong, Dong Da, Hanoi), as the sources of the misinformation.

During the investigation, both individuals admitted to posting unverified and false information, causing public concern and damaging the reputation of the FPT Long Chau system.
The Internal Political Security Department of Hanoi’s Public Security issued administrative fines totaling VND 7.5 million to the two individuals for “Providing and sharing fake information, misinformation, slander, and defamation that affects the prestige of organizations, the honor and dignity of individuals” according to Point a, Clause 1, Article 101 of the Government’s Decree No. 15/2020/ND-CP dated February 3, 2020, and amended by Decree No. 14/2022/ND-CP dated January 27, 2022.
FPT Long Chau has strongly asserted its stance against counterfeit and substandard goods. All products sold by Long Chau originate from reliable sources and undergo rigorous quality control. Product information is transparent and publicly accessible, including the registration certificate for functional foods across the entire system.
FPT Long Chau pharmacy will continue to scrutinize and expose fake news sources while collaborating with authorities to take strict action against such violations.
In light of this incident, Hanoi’s Public Security urges the public to exercise caution and vigilance when writing, sharing, or commenting on unverified information. Such actions can cause unnecessary panic and harm the reputation and legal rights of organizations and individuals. Those who disseminate misinformation will be subject to strict legal consequences.
