Vingroup and Shopee Sign MOU for E-commerce Logistics Development in Vietnam

Vingroup and Shopee (representing Sea Ltd.) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on e-commerce logistics infrastructure development in Vietnam.

As per the agreement, the two parties will work together to research and implement support measures for Shopee’s third-party logistics partners (3PL), including the integration of VinFast electric vehicles and new delivery models to enhance delivery services.

Additionally, Shopee and Vingroup will explore the possibility of integrating smart lockers into Vinhomes urban areas and Vincom shopping centers within the Vingroup ecosystem. These lockers will serve as alternative delivery locations, providing customers with more flexibility in receiving their online orders.

Shopee x Vingroup: A Step Towards a More Sustainable Digital Future

Mr. Tran Tuan Anh, Director of Shopee Vietnam, expressed his belief that the collaboration with Vingroup will boost the development of e-commerce in Vietnam, enhance the shopping experience, and bring added convenience to both buyers and sellers. He considers this a significant step towards a more sustainable digital future for the domestic market.

“By combining Vingroup’s robust infrastructure and pioneering VinFast electric vehicles with Shopee’s extensive e-commerce network, we aim to build a more efficient, sustainable, and accessible digital ecosystem for businesses and consumers alike,” shared Mr. Le Khac Hiep, Vice Chairman of Vingroup.

The partnership between Vingroup and Shopee aims to strengthen digital connectivity and enhance e-commerce infrastructure in Vietnam. This initiative may contribute to supporting the growth of businesses, particularly micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), while also improving the online shopping experience for consumers.
