Eastspring Investments Fund Management Company Limited (Eastspring Vietnam) has announced a change in its senior management. Accordingly, Mr. Ngo The Trieu will step down as General Director and legal representative of Eastspring Vietnam from the date of termination of his labor contract or the date on which the State Securities Commission approves Deputy General Director Nguyen Quoc Dung as his successor, whichever comes first.

Mr. Ngo The Trieu will also relinquish his role as a member of the BOD of Eastspring Vietnam. Mr. Nguyen Quoc Dung will replace him for a term of five years, effective as of the above date, unless otherwise decided by the company. On the same day, Eastspring Vietnam announced the change of another BOD member, with Mr. Conor Martin O’Neil appointed to replace Mr. Phuong Tien Minh.

Mr. Ngo The Trieu joined Eastspring Vietnam in 2007. During his time at Eastspring, he held several important roles, from managing equity and bond portfolios to becoming Chief Investment Officer in 2015. Prior to joining Eastspring, Mr. Ngo The Trieu worked at Arthur Andersen Vietnam, Eximbank, and Prudential Vietnam.

Meanwhile, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Dung joined Eastspring Vietnam in April 2025. Just a month after taking on the role of Deputy General Director, he was appointed as the Information Disclosure Officer at the end of May. Mr. Nguyen Quoc Dung has over 24 years of experience in the financial and securities industry. Prior to joining Eastspring Vietnam, he worked for extended periods at Vietcap, KPMG, Arthur Andersen, and several large domestic enterprises…

Established in 2005, Eastspring Vietnam has a charter capital of VND 25 billion, wholly owned by Prudential Vietnam. The company mainly operates in the field of securities investment fund management, investment portfolio management, and investment consulting. Headquartered in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, Eastspring Vietnam is currently one of the largest fund management companies in the domestic market.

As of the end of Q1/2025, Eastspring Vietnam’s total assets amounted to nearly VND 586 billion, while the value of its entrusted investment portfolio reached VND 159,000 billion (approximately USD 6.3 billion). Bonds accounted for the largest proportion of the total entrusted investment portfolio, followed by deposits and stocks.
