According to recent reports from the FPT Long Chau chain of pharmacies, numerous organizations and individuals have created websites, fan pages, and community groups on social media platforms to spread false information and defame the pharmacy. These posts often contain sensational and clickbait content, shared across personal profiles, groups, and pages, leading to information disorder and public confusion.

These actions have severely impacted the reputation, credibility, and quality of products and services associated with the pharmacy. In response to these misleading statements and to address consumer concerns, FPT Long Chau has issued an official response to the defamatory information circulating on social media.

“Long Chau Pharmacy is committed to fighting against counterfeit and substandard goods to protect the health and interests of consumers,” FPT Long Chau stated.

FPT Long Chau has integrated a feature that allows customers to verify the registration of product declarations for functional foods across its entire system. This initiative is part of their efforts to enhance transparency and protect consumer rights.

Earlier, social media platforms spread misinformation claiming that the product “Happy Mom Health Protective Food” sold at FPT Long Chau was counterfeit. The Hanoi Police verified these claims and administratively fined two individuals, Ms. T.T.V.A and N.P.T, VND 7.5 million each for their “Provision and sharing of false information, inaccurate information, distorted slander, and offensive reputation of the organization.”

The Hanoi Police also advised the public to exercise caution and vigilance when posting, sharing, or commenting on unverified information to prevent negative impacts on organizations and individuals and to comply with the law.

FPT Long Chau will continue to scrutinize and update the list of pages spreading false information. They will also closely coordinate with relevant authorities to take strict action against violators.
