The construction team in charge of the Trà Khúc 3 Bridge project is currently rushing to complete the final touches before the official opening of the bridge, which is expected to take place at the end of June 2025.

With a total length of 2.55 km, the Trà Khúc 3 Bridge project includes a 710-meter bridge and a 1.8-kilometer access road. The total investment for this project amounts to 850 billion VND, with 525 billion VND coming from the central budget and the remaining funds provided by the provincial budget.

The project is under the management of the Management Board for Traffic Infrastructure Construction Projects in Quang Ngai Province. It is scheduled to be completed in 2025, three years after its commencement in 2022.

The Trà Khúc 3 Bridge holds significant importance as it connects National Highway 24B with Provincial Road 623B, as well as the North-South Expressway and National Highway 1. This bridge plays a crucial role in establishing a comprehensive transportation network, providing a direct link between the district centers of Sơn Tịnh and Tư Nghĩa.

Recognized as a key project by the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee for the period of 2024-2025, the Trà Khúc 3 Bridge is also included in the list of projects celebrating the 21st Congress of the Provincial Party Committee for the term 2025-2030.

The bridge features a unique design with three steel arch spans and twelve concrete approach spans, each measuring 38 meters in length. The sidewalks on both sides of the bridge are designed with ample space for pedestrians to enjoy the scenic views.

The arches are painted in a striking red color, reflecting beautifully on the river and creating a rainbow-like effect. This distinctive feature adds a unique touch to the landscape of the surrounding rural area.

Upon its completion, the Trà Khúc 3 Bridge will be the sixth road bridge crossing the Trà Khúc River, following the Trà Khúc 1, Trà Khúc 2, Thạch Bích, Cổ Lũy, and the Đà Nẵng – Quảng Ngãi Expressway bridges.
