Fiat has unveiled its first electric three-wheeler, the Tris, a small electric truck designed for last-mile deliveries to consumers or small businesses.
Currently, the Flat Tris is available in two variants: a flatbed and a pickup, offering flexibility in transporting various goods such as food, light materials, crafts, or gifts.

The mini electric truck stands out with its unique and distinctive design. With a length of only 3,170 mm, it’s even shorter than the Wuling Mini EV (3,256 mm), yet it offers a generous 2.25 square meters of cargo space and a maximum payload of 540 kg. The gross vehicle weight when fully loaded is 1,025 kg. The three-wheel configuration, with a wide rear axle and a long wheelbase, ensures stability even when carrying heavy loads.

Fiat equips the Tris with a LED lighting system featuring their new pixel design. Inside the cabin, you’ll find a 5.7-inch digital instrument cluster, a USB-C charging port, a 12V socket, and lockable storage compartments to meet the basic needs of users. Fiat also offers upgrade options for customers who require more features.

Powering the Fiat Tris is an electric motor with a 48V system, delivering a maximum output of 12 horsepower and 45 Nm of torque. The vehicle has a top speed of 45 km/h, making it suitable for urban deliveries or navigating through crowded residential areas.
Equipped with a 6.9kWh battery, the Tris can travel up to 90 kilometers on a single charge. Users can conveniently charge the battery using a standard household outlet thanks to the integrated charger. Charging the battery from 0-80% takes approximately 3.5 hours, while a full charge is achieved in 4 hours and 40 minutes.
According to Olivier Francois, Fiat’s brand manager, the Tris was developed specifically for the Middle Eastern and African markets, where there is a high demand for practical transportation solutions, but financial accessibility is limited. However, Fiat also leaves the possibility open for introducing the Tris to the European market in the future, especially given the growing demand for smart and environmentally friendly transportation options.
