The People’s Committee of Hanoi has approved the investment proposal for the construction of a road connecting Tay Thang Long Street to the inter-level schools and judicial agencies of Dan Phuong District.

According to the decision, the road construction project has a total length of approximately 1.6 km and comprises three sections: Section 1 is 475 meters long, Section 2 is 575 meters, and Section 3 is 550 meters. The road will have a width of 24 meters, including a 14-meter-wide carriageway and 10-meter-wide sidewalks on both sides. The main items include land clearance, construction of foundations, roads, pavements, drainage, water supply, fire protection, and lighting systems.

This project aims to reduce traffic congestion on existing roads, improve mobility for residents, and connect the resettlement area with surrounding roads. Additionally, it contributes to enhancing drainage capacity in the area, reducing environmental pollution, and ensuring traffic safety.

The total investment for the project is estimated at VND 231.37 billion, funded by the budget of Dan Phuong District. The project is expected to be implemented from 2025 to 2027, with the People’s Committee of Dan Phuong District in charge of investment preparation and performing the duties and rights of the investor during the investment preparation phase.

The People’s Committee of Dan Phuong District is responsible for the accuracy and legality of the information and data presented in the project proposal submitted for appraisal and approval. They are also tasked with formulating plans and implementing measures to ensure the continuous, effective, and economical execution of the project, aligning with the direction and arrangement of administrative units in the next phase.

In addition to the above-mentioned road, the City People’s Committee also approved the investment proposal for the construction of the Duong Dam Viet Tan road in Thuong Tin District.

According to the decision, the project aims to improve transportation connections with Provincial Road 427B, National Highway 1A, and urban areas 6 and 7 in Thuong Tin town. The project facilitates convenient travel for the people, contributes to completing the approved transportation infrastructure plan, enhances land value and utilization along the road, improves the landscape and environment, and creates a civilized and modern urban appearance. It also accelerates urbanization and promotes socio-economic development.

The new road will be approximately 0.87 km long, starting from Provincial Road 427B and ending at Tu Ba Co Road. The road will have a width of 16 meters and will be equipped with synchronous items such as drainage, lighting, greenery, technical channels, and auxiliary works to ensure traffic safety. The total expected investment for the project is over VND 104 billion, fully funded by the budget of Thuong Tin District.

The project is expected to be implemented from 2025 to 2027. The People’s Committee of Thuong Tin District is assigned as the investor and is responsible for organizing the implementation of the entire project, from investment preparation, land clearance to construction, and completion.
