According to the eyewitness, there were two tables of customers dining on the first floor of the restaurant, while the rest were seated in the apartment complex courtyard behind the restaurant.

“Upon realizing the situation, several people rushed to extinguish the fire, but the blaze intensified due to the presence of flammable materials, oil, and grease in the kitchen,” the eyewitness added.

The Fire Prevention and Control Force from the Thanh Tri local station (Hanoi Fire Prevention and Control Police Department) promptly arrived at the scene to extinguish the blaze.

The fire ravaged numerous possessions.

Within approximately 15 minutes, the fire was extinguished. Fortunately, there were no casualties, but the second floor sustained extensive damage, with charred remains and ruined possessions.

The site presented a grim picture, with shattered glass panes on the second floor, smoke-stained tin walls, and a partially damaged sunshade. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the authorities.
