Earlier, on May 19, the functional forces inspected the business activities of Danang Luxury Goods Company. At that time, the facility was displaying and selling 70 types of handbags bearing the Chanel brand and 10 types of handbags bearing the Hermès brand, with signs of counterfeiting the Chanel, Hermès, and Rolex brands, which are protected in Vietnam. The total value of the goods determined at the time of inspection was VND 41.5 million.

In addition, the People’s Committee of Da Nang City has decided to administratively fine the business household 99% Da Nang, located on Tran Phu Street (Hai Chau District, Da Nang City), VND 45 million and force the destruction of counterfeit goods.
Previously, the functional forces inspected the business activities of 99% Da Nang and discovered 9 Rolex-branded watches, 15 Chanel-branded bags, and 9 pairs of Hermès-branded sandals, which are counterfeit goods of the above-mentioned brands that are protected in Vietnam. The total value of the goods determined at the time of inspection was over VND 46.4 million.
As a result of verification and working with the market management force, it was concluded that 99% of Da Nang business households have committed administrative violations by displaying and selling counterfeit goods with the quantity and total value mentioned above.
