Energy Transition – A Top Priority in the Sustainable Development Strategy
The development of smart, low-carbon industrial parks is an inevitable trend, driving energy transition and green growth in many countries. Huawei Digital Power hosted a seminar on “Developing Low-Carbon Industrial Parks in Vietnam” on May 27, 2025, attracting the attention and participation of government representatives, industrial park leaders, renewable energy experts, and international technology partners.
Mr. Jason Wu, General Manager of Huawei Digital Power in Southeast Asia, shared, “Huawei is proud to accompany Vietnam on its sustainable development journey through our commercial and industrial solar solutions, smart grid-forming energy storage systems, and energy management solutions. These solutions enable the development of smart, carbon-neutral industrial parks where renewable energy, AI, and governance converge to create a comprehensive ecosystem.”
The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Vo Quang Lam, Deputy General Director of EVN, who shared important updates on the national power development plan and promoted the integration of clean energy into industrial parks.
Mr. Nguyen Quoc Dung, Director of EVN Business, presented a thesis on “Promoting Green Energy Development in Industrial Parks.” He emphasized the improving legal framework, creating a transparent and stable legal foundation for the development of rooftop solar power in industrial parks.
Mr. Nguyen Quang Long, from the Electricity Department of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, provided a strategic perspective by analyzing the new points in the adjusted Power Planning VIII: encouraging industrial parks to integrate distributed energy sources, energy storage, and digital governance, laying the foundation for smart industries and emissions reduction.
Mr. Dinh Quang Tri affirmed the essential role of renewable energy, particularly solar power, in the journey towards building green and low-emission industrial parks.
The seminar also witnessed the introduction of advanced solar power solutions by leading experts, solution providers, and technology partners in the solar energy field.

Integrated Energy Technology – The Answer to Smart, Low-Carbon Industrial Parks
At the seminar, Huawei Digital Power introduced the integrated FusionSolar C&I OASIS solution, a “One-fits-all” model for smart and low-carbon industrial parks. This platform includes:
SUN2000-150K-MG0 Smart Inverter: Integrated with AI and Smart PV Optimizer technology, this inverter maximizes the efficiency of each solar panel, even in low light or shaded conditions.

LUNA2000-215-Series Energy Storage System: Utilizing Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) batteries, a smart BMS, and hybrid cooling technology (combining liquid and air cooling):
High temperatures: Employ active liquid cooling to quickly lower the temperature of the battery cells.
Normal temperatures: Switch to natural air cooling, using only the air-cooling module to cool the battery cells and PCS, reducing energy consumption.
Low temperatures: Utilize waste heat from the PCS to warm the cold battery cells, achieving ultra-low energy consumption.
Super-fast EV Charging Station: Designed for industrial and logistics environments, this charging station supports various electric vehicles, including forklifts, internal vehicles, and electric trucks.
Huawei – Accompanying Vietnam on the Journey towards Sustainable Renewable Energy Transition
As a global leader in solar energy solutions, Huawei has maintained its position as the number one market share holder in string inverters for nine consecutive years (according to Wood Mackenzie). Huawei’s solutions meet stringent international standards such as TÜV Rheinland and EMC, ensuring technical safety and meeting the demanding operational requirements of modern industrial parks.

The seminar served as a vital link in the green transformation ecosystem.

“REE – Sustainable Growth Strategy (Part 1)”
The Ho Chi Minh City Refrigeration Electricity Joint Stock Company (HOSE: REE) is shifting its focus to renewable energy as a key part of its growth strategy for the coming years. The company is accelerating its hydropower and wind power projects and seeking new investment opportunities that align with the adjusted Power Development Plan VIII. With this direction, REE not only aims to increase capacity but also enhance operational efficiency, striving for sustainable development and keeping pace with the global energy transition.
Solar Power in Industrial Zones: Policy Push Needed
The potential for industrial rooftop solar energy is immense, driven by the growing demand for clean energy and decreasing investment costs. However, there are still significant challenges in investment, installation, grid connection, and power purchase within industrial zones that need to be addressed promptly.
The Green Revolution: BSR Launches Its First Sustainable Aviation Fuel Offering
On June 4, 2025, Binh Son Refinery and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company (BSR) successfully launched and sold its first commercial batch of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). This groundbreaking achievement marks a significant step forward in the company’s commitment to fostering sustainability and innovation in the aviation industry.
“The Private Sector: Leading the Charge Towards a Low-Carbon, Green Growth Economy”
Although the nation’s economic growth model remains carbon-intensive, Vietnam’s private sector has begun to seize green growth opportunities. The private sector will also be pivotal in Vietnam’s efforts to reduce emissions and transition to a low-carbon economy.
