The People’s Committee of Thai Nguyen province has recently announced the establishment of the Luong Son 2 Industrial Cluster in Luong Son ward, Song Cong city.
The industrial cluster will focus on supportive industries, high-tech industries, processing industries, high-tech transportation infrastructure manufacturing, and auxiliary industries in the electromechanical field, warehousing, and other industrial and handicraft industries.

With a total investment of over VND 1,140 billion, the Luong Son 2 Industrial Cluster spans an area of 68 hectares. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2028.
The infrastructure construction of the industrial cluster will be undertaken by HDA Vietnam Industry Joint Stock Company as the investor.
The People’s Committee of Thai Nguyen province has instructed the investor to obtain investment approval for the project. Additionally, the investor must comply with legal regulations regarding planning, investment, land, environment, construction, and other relevant laws during the project implementation.
The investor is required to adhere to the conditions for construction commencement and only accept secondary projects upon completion of the cluster’s technical infrastructure and environmental protection works.
The provincial People’s Committee has also directed relevant departments to guide the investor through procedures related to planning, investment, land, environment, construction, financial obligations, and other necessary procedures for the project’s execution.
The People’s Committee of Song Cong city has been assigned to coordinate and supervise the investor to ensure compliance with the approved planning and documents. They will also facilitate procedures related to compensation, support, and resettlement in accordance with regulations.
According to the approved Planning for Thai Nguyen province for the period of 2021-2030, there are 41 industrial clusters planned with a total area of 2,067 hectares. To date, 28 industrial clusters have been established, of which 13 are already operational.
