FPT and Airbus, a leading European aerospace company, have taken their long-standing partnership to new heights with the signing of a Master Services Agreement (MSA). With this agreement, FPT officially becomes a Global Strategic Technology Partner of the world’s leading aerospace corporation. The signing ceremony took place during the Vietnam-France Business Forum in Paris, witnessed by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh during his official visit to the French Republic.

FPT and Airbus have enjoyed a successful collaboration for over a decade. For instance, in 2017, FPT was one of the first IT partners to accompany Airbus in deploying the Skywise ecosystem in the Asia-Pacific region. Skywise is Airbus’ open data platform in aviation, enabling data integration from airlines and customized program development for users. In 2023, as Airbus streamlined its list of strategic IT partners, FPT maintained its position as a strategic partner of this leading global aerospace corporation.

“Since its establishment, FPT has actively promoted cooperation between leading Vietnamese and European businesses, especially in the IT field,” said Chu Thi Thanh Ha, Chairman of FPT Software, FPT Corporation. “The partnership between FPT and Airbus is a testament to that commitment. With a network of over 100 partners in the aviation industry and a highly skilled global technology team, FPT will continue to accompany Airbus and contribute to the digital transformation journey of the aviation industry.”

“This milestone underscores the growing potential in the partnership between our two companies and recognizes FPT’s capabilities and technological expertise, which have been consistently demonstrated over time,” said Wouter Van Wersch, Airbus Executive Vice President Global. “Airbus continues to trust FPT as a reliable and highly capable partner.”

FPT has established itself as a trusted technology partner in the global aviation industry, with an extensive collaboration network of over 100 airlines, airports, cargo carriers, and aircraft manufacturers. In addition to Airbus, FPT has partnered with the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) to explore next-generation aviation technologies.

In the French market, FPT is also actively expanding its operations and collaborations. In 2023, FPT acquired a majority stake in AOSIS, an IT consulting company based in France, thereby enhancing its service capabilities in the region. To foster cultural and professional connections, the FPT Francophone Community was established to develop French-speaking talent. Recently, FPT was the only Vietnamese enterprise to participate in the “Choose France” Summit in Paris and the Vietnam-France Leadership Forum in Hanoi.

Headquartered in Blagnac, a suburb of Toulouse, France, Airbus manufactures about half of the world’s jetliners and has significant operations across Europe. Airbus originated from a consortium of aerospace manufacturers, Airbus Industrie.
