On June 9th, Market Management Team #6, in collaboration with the Provincial Economic Police and Team 389, inspected a truck with the license plate number 37D-028.47, driven by Hoang Van Thai from Trang Dinh district, Lang Son province. Authorities discovered 800 bags of smuggled sausages, weighing 560kg, hidden in the vehicle’s cargo compartment.

During the inspection, the driver, Hoang Van Thai, could not produce any invoices, documents, or relevant paperwork for the goods. The estimated value of the seized items is VND 40,000,000.
Market Management Team #6 has temporarily confiscated the illegal goods to verify the circumstances of the case and will report to the competent authorities for handling in accordance with the law.
“To prevent the circulation of smuggled food products, food of unknown origin, and unsafe food that may harm consumers’ health, Market Management Team #6 will continue to strengthen operational measures and promptly handle violations by individuals and organizations in the province,” a representative of the team stated.
