On June 13, a conference was held at the Headquarters of the Central Committee for Policy and Strategy to announce the personnel decision of the Head of the Central Committee for Policy and Strategy. According to the decision, Mr. Nguyen Hong Hien, Chairman of the Members’ Council of Mobifone Telecommunications Corporation, has been appointed as the Director of the Department of Science, Technology, Innovation, and Digital Transformation under the Central Committee for Policy and Strategy.

Speaking at the conference, Vice Head Pham Dai Duong congratulated the new Director, Nguyen Hong Hien, on his appointment. Mr. Pham Dai Duong emphasized that amid the new situation’s demands, the Central Committee for Policy and Strategy has been entrusted with crucial tasks, including the addition of a new advisory department—the Department of Science, Technology, Innovation, and Digital Transformation. The Vice Head expressed his hope that Mr. Nguyen Hong Hien would swiftly grasp his duties, closely coordinate with the Committee’s departments and units, and leverage his capabilities and experience to provide advisory services to the Committee’s leadership in the fields of science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation.
