Although the exact number of transfers has not been disclosed by Biwase, it is expected that Biwase Long An will remain a subsidiary of Biwase.
In terms of relationships, Biwase is an associate company of TDM, in which TDM holds a 37.42% stake. Mr. Nguyen Van Tri – Chairman of the Board of TDM and Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phong – Member of the Board of TDM, concurrently hold the position of Members of the Board of Biwase.

Biwase Long An, established on December 2, 2015 (formerly known as DNP Long An Water Infrastructure Investment JSC) mainly operates in water exploitation, treatment, and supply. Its head office is located in Ap 7, Nhi Thanh commune, Thu Thua district, Long An province.
As of October 2022, Biwase Long An had a chartered capital of VND 322 billion, with 100% private capital, in which DNP Holding Joint Stock Company (HNX: DNP) owned 44% of the capital. In March 2023, Biwase purchased 25.4% of the shares in Biwase Long An from DNP. By the end of May 2023, Biwase had increased its ownership to 91.6% (the estimated total value of the repurchase of the subsidiary was VND 561 billion).
In late 2023, Biwase Long An raised its charter capital to VND 644 billion, of which Biwase currently owns 94.54% (as of the end of Q1/2025). The legal representatives of Biwase Long An are Mr. Tran Chien Cong – Chairman of the Board and Mr. Bui Truong Son – General Director. Mr. Cong is also the Vice Chairman of the Board and General Director of Biwase.
According to the website, Biwase Long An is operating the Nhi Thanh Water Plant with a total capacity of 60,000 cubic meters per night and day (phase 1 and 2) and is one of the largest surface water treatment plants in Long An. The company is also in the process of upgrading the Nhi Thanh Water Plant to a capacity of 120,000 cubic meters per night and day, expected to be completed in October this year.

Earlier, in late May 2025, the Board of Directors of BWE agreed to establish a One-Member Limited Liability Company for Wastewater and Drainage Treatment named Biwase, headquartered in Binh Duong, with a charter capital of VND 30 billion and owned by BWE. This is also the tenth subsidiary of the water industry giant in Binh Duong.
In early May, the Board of Directors of BWE also agreed on the direction of investing to buy from 20 – 50% of voting shares of Vinh Long Water Supply Joint Stock Company (Vwaco, UPCoM: VLW). On May 21, BWE announced that it had successfully purchased 7.1 million VLW shares and officially became a major shareholder with a holding of 24.57%, up from zero shares. During this period, there were exactly 7.1 million VLW shares traded through a negotiated deal, equal to the number of shares purchased by BWE, valued at VND 177.5 billion.
