Companies finalising cash dividend payouts for the week of 16-20/06/2025

Topping the list in terms of dividend yield is SDV at 30%. With 5 million shares outstanding, the company is expected to shell out VND 15 billion in dividends. The ex-dividend date is set for 19/06, with payments expected to reach shareholders by 10/07.

This dividend payout sets a record for SDV, matching the level last seen in 2022. In 2023 and prior years, SDV’s dividend payouts ranged between just 15-20%.

The largest shareholder of SDV is the Joint Stock Corporation for Industrial Park Development (Sonadezi, UPCoM: SNZ), which holds a 20% stake and is anticipated to receive approximately VND 3 billion. Sonadezi’s actual proceeds could be higher, considering that several of its subsidiaries are also major shareholders of SDV, including Sonadezi Environment JSC (UPCoM: SZE), which currently holds 10%, and Sonadezi Long Thanh JSC (HOSE: SZL), which holds 5%.

Ranking second is TCW with a dividend yield of 23% (VND 2,300 per share). With nearly 20 million shares outstanding, TCW is expected to distribute approximately VND 46 billion in dividends. The ex-dividend date falls on 18/06, with payments expected from 30/06 onwards. While not yet back to peak levels, the 2024 dividend yield of 23% marks the highest in the past four years, reflecting positive financial results with the highest revenue and net profit since the company’s inception.

Following closely are VCS and VNP, both finalising dividends at a rate of 20% (VND 2,000 per share). VCS has set its ex-dividend date for 19/06, with payments commencing on 27/06, while VNP has chosen 17/06 and 18/07, respectively, for these milestones.

VCS also stands out for its substantial cash payout of VND 320 billion. Over 84% of this amount – proportional to its shareholding – will go to its parent company, the Phoenix A&A Group. Both mentioned enterprises are under the control of entrepreneur Ho Xuan Nang.

In the week ahead, six companies will finalise share dividend payouts. Leading this category is PVT with a dividend ratio of 32% (100:32, meaning that for every 100 shares held, an investor will receive 32 new shares), expecting to issue nearly 114 million new shares. The ex-dividend date is 19/06/2025.
