On the evening of June 15, Mr. N.Q.B (from Ho Chi Minh City), a passenger on this flight, shared with NLD reporters about this unusual and annoying incident.
According to Mr. B, the flight from Danang to Ho Chi Minh City took off at 22:50 on June 14 and landed at Tan Son Nhat airport at 00:20 on June 15.
After landing, instead of taking the shuttle bus, passengers chose to walk through the tunnel to the T1 terminal building.
However, to their surprise, the entrance to the terminal was locked.

As they exited the plane and walked through the tunnel, the entire group of passengers, along with the pilot and flight attendants, were stuck at the end of the corridor due to a locked glass door.
“It was early morning, and there were no airport staff around. We had to wait for a long time, with many tired and sleepy children among the passengers. Even the pilot and flight attendants had to stand and wait. Everyone was crammed into the stuffy and hot corridor… It took about 30 minutes for security and airline staff to arrive and open the door, allowing passengers to enter the terminal and head home,” Mr. B recounted.
We have reached out to Tan Son Nhat International Airport and the airline involved in this unusual incident for further information and will provide updates as they become available.

The Leaking Roof of Tan Son Nhat Airport’s Terminal 3: ACV Explains Why
“A spokesperson from ACV addressed the water leakage incident at Terminal 3 on May 24, attributing it to a loose seal around a drain pipe, which allowed water to escape. The issue was promptly resolved on the same day, ensuring a swift return to normal operations.”
