The soon-to-be-launched Bestune Xiaoma electric car is set to energize the Vietnamese market.
The electric vehicle (EV) landscape in Vietnam is about to get a lot more exciting with the upcoming launch of the Bestune Xiaoma. According to local dealers, this mini electric car is currently undergoing registration and will officially arrive at dealerships by the end of June 2025, stirring up the competition in the small urban EV segment.
Dealers have also revealed that the Bestune Xiaoma will be available in five attractive color options: jasmine white, glossy green, tea green, navy blue, and powder pink. With a starting price of 199 million VND (including VAT and vehicle battery cost), this mini electric car offers an impressive seven-year warranty. Early bird customers will also be exempt from registration fees, road taxes, license plate fees, and insurance costs.
At this price point, the Bestune Xiaoma becomes the most affordable mini electric car in the Vietnamese market. Moreover, it promises to be a formidable contender in the urban EV segment, posing direct competition to the Wuling Mini EV.

In terms of dimensions, the Bestune Xiaoma measures 3,000 mm in length, 1,510 mm in width, and 1,630 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 1,953 mm, a ground clearance of 130 mm, and a weight of approximately 777 kg. When compared to its sibling, the Wuling Mini EV (2,917 x 1,493 x 1,621 mm), the Bestune Xiaoma boasts superior specifications.

The Bestune Xiaoma’s design stands out with its cute and modern style, featuring rounded edges and smooth curves. It sports rectangular headlights and taillights, adding a unique touch. The charging port is conveniently located at the front of the vehicle, just below the Bestune logo, enhancing both aesthetics and functionality.

The interior of the Bestune Xiaoma offers a simple yet functional design, featuring fabric seats, manual air conditioning, a D-Cut steering wheel, and a 7-inch LCD screen behind the wheel for basic entertainment.

When it comes to safety, the Bestune Xiaoma is equipped with front airbags, ABS brakes, brake force distribution, and tire pressure monitoring.
Under the hood, the Bestune Xiaoma is powered by an electric motor that delivers 27 horsepower and 85 Nm of torque, driving the rear wheels. It utilizes a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 13.9 kWh, offering a range of approximately 170 km on a single charge. The battery can be fully charged in 6.5 to 9 hours.

Earlier in March 2025, the first images of this mini electric car were revealed on the fan page of Thai Binh Hung Thinh JSC (Thai Hung Corp), generating significant interest among Vietnamese consumers. More recently, the Bestune Xiaoma was showcased at the Vietnam-China-ASEAN Energy Exhibition 2025, solidifying its presence in the local market.
