On June 15, according to information obtained by Ngưòi Lao Động reporters, the Lâm Đồng Provincial Department of Finance presented to the Provincial People’s Committee a proposal for allocating office spaces for various agencies and units as part of the plan to reorganize provincial-level administrative units.

Current People’s Committee of Đà Lạt office at 05 Trần Nhân Tông Street.

The proposal outlines the space requirements for the consolidated provincial Party agencies, which will result from the merger of Lâm Đồng, Bình Thuận, and Đắk Nông provinces. The required area is estimated to be between 17,000 and 19,000 square meters. Two locations are suggested to accommodate this need: the current Provincial People’s Committee office at 04 Trần Hưng Đạo Street (15,153 sq. m.) and a portion of the Đà Lạt People’s Committee office at 05 Trần Nhân Tông Street (14,848 sq. m.).

The Provincial Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial Council is estimated to require approximately 3,600 square meters of space. It is proposed to be located at the current office at 02 Trần Hưng Đạo Street (2,267 sq. m.) and a portion of the shared office of various associations at 04A Trần Hưng Đạo Street (1,100 sq. m.).

The Provincial People’s Committee Office and the Party Committee Office are projected to need 5,700 square meters. This is planned to be distributed across three locations: the current office at 04 Trần Hưng Đạo Street (3,872 sq. m.), the Forest Protection and Development Fund office at 08 Trần Hưng Đạo Street (720 sq. m.), and a portion of 04A Trần Hưng Đạo Street (2,200 sq. m., shared with the Provincial Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial Council).

Various provincial departments, sectors, and units will require a total area of 26,528 square meters. Six locations are proposed to meet this need: the current Provincial Administrative Center at 36 Trần Phú Street (24,047 sq. m.), 2L Ba Tháng Tư Street (748 sq. m.), 08 Ba Tháng Tư Street (600 sq. m.), 50 Quang Trung Street (310 sq. m.), 52 Quang Trung Street (669 sq. m.), and the former People’s Committee office of Ward 3 (1,881 sq. m.).

The proposed locations for the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and other socio-political organizations include 61 Quang Trung Street (1,509 sq. m.), 57 Quang Trung Street (1,651 sq. m.), 25 Quang Trung Street (3,326 sq. m.), and a portion of 05 Trần Nhân Tông Street (shared with the Provincial Party Committee).

The Department of Finance recommends that the Provincial People’s Committee authorize the Department of Finance to advise and issue decisions on the transfer of management of 08 Trần Hưng Đạo Street and 04A Trần Hưng Đạo Street to the Provincial Party Committee before June 20, and the transfer of 05 Trần Nhân Tông Street (Đà Lạt People’s Committee office) to the Provincial Party Committee before June 24.
