The VinFast VF 6 has been spotted undergoing testing on the streets of Mumbai, India, ahead of the Vietnamese automaker’s entry into the Indian market. This follows the earlier sighting of the VinFast VF 7 in the country.
VinFast first introduced the VF 6 to India at the Auto Expo 2025, and the design of the prototype is expected to be identical. At the front, the VF 6 features distinctive full-width LED strips that curve downwards in the middle, forming a partial ‘V’ shape around the VinFast logo.

Additionally, the VF 6 will feature 18-inch alloy wheels and some black cladding. Moving to the rear, it sports a full-width LED strip with tail lamps below, mirroring the front design, and a brake light on the bumper. The VF 6 measures 4,241mm in length, 1,834mm in width, and 1,580mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,730mm. Notably, the ground clearance has been increased by 20mm compared to the Vietnamese version, now sitting at 190mm, likely to accommodate India’s road conditions.
The interior of the VF 6 in India will include a 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system mounted on the dashboard and angled towards the driver, with a host of buttons below, including drive mode selectors and a drive mode toggle. All other functions in the VF 6 are accessible only through the infotainment screen. In terms of comfort, the VF 6 will offer a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an eight-way power-adjustable driver seat, ventilated front seats, rear AC vents, vehicle connectivity technology, and more.
