Specifically, BNPC was unable to repay the outstanding principal amount of over VND 1,200 billion for the bond. The given reason was that the company had not yet arranged for the funds and was still in negotiations with investors. On the other hand, on June 05, BNPC had to pay a partial penalty interest on the bonds amounting to nearly VND 6.4 billion.
The BNPCH2123002 bond was issued in October 2021 with a value of VND 2,100 billion and an interest rate of 10.5%/year. The collateral included 40.38 million shares of No Va Real Estate Investment Joint Stock Company (HOSE: NVL), and other assets that were supplemented and replaced at different times to secure the bond obligations.
According to the initial plan, the bond was due to mature in June 2023, but it has not been fully repaid yet. In 2024, BNPC repaid nearly VND 694 billion to reduce the principal amount to the remaining VND 1,200 billion as mentioned.

In August 2022, BNP Global increased its charter capital to VND 1,000 billion, but the shareholder structure was not disclosed. Ms. Vo Thi Kim Khoa served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors, General Director, and legal representative of BNP Global.
It is known that Ms. Kim Khoa also holds a series of real estate businesses, including Tan Thanh Long An Investment Joint Stock Company, Ngoc Minh Investment and Real Estate Company Limited, Novadreams Entertainment Park Company Limited, Minh Phuc Real Estate Joint Stock Company, Cat Lien Hoa Real Estate Development Company Limited, and Dai Hung Real Estate Investment and Development Company Limited, among others.
