The Hanoi People’s Committee has submitted a proposal to the municipal People’s Council for approval of the investment policy for the project on land retrieval, compensation, support, resettlement, and site clearance for the construction of a road connecting Gia Binh Airport to the capital city of Hanoi (Hanoi section).
According to the Hanoi People’s Committee, the city will organize site clearance within the cross-section width along the approved route direction by the municipal People’s Committee (cross-section width B=120m).
The project’s scope includes compensation, support for site clearance, and compensation for technical infrastructure and social infrastructure works attached to the land.
Gia Binh Airport is a key national project.
The total estimated investment for the project is over VND 7,619 billion, sourced from the city’s budget.
The project is divided into two components. The first component involves compensation, support, and resettlement in Gia Lam district, with an estimated cost of VND 6,420 billion. The second component covers the same activities in Dong Anh district, with an estimated cost of VND 1,198 billion.
The project is scheduled to be implemented during the period of 2025-2026.
The Hanoi People’s Committee aims to expedite the site clearance process and create a smooth path for the construction of the road connecting Gia Binh Airport to Hanoi.
The proposal is expected to be considered and approved by the Hanoi People’s Council at its 24th meeting on June 27, 2025.
