The KBC Board has approved a list of professional securities investors who purchased the remaining shares from the private offering of 250 million shares. Accordingly, four additional investors have purchased a total of over 71.2 million shares.

Infrastructure Investment Fund PVI (PIF) and PVI Asset Management JSC PVIASSET purchased 50 million and 1.25 million shares, respectively, while Mrs. Nguyen Minh Trang purchased 10 million shares. Notably, after VPBank Securities JSC (VPBankS) purchased 20 million shares as initially planned, the organization went on to buy an additional 10 million remaining shares from KBC.

Prior to this, KBC announced the successful sale of 102.9 million shares to 6 investors, including VPBankS.

Thus, after two rounds, KBC has offered to 9 investors a total of more than 174.1 million shares, equivalent to nearly 70% of the total 250 million shares on offer. The offering ended on June 24th. These shares will be restricted from transfer for one year from the date of completion of the issuance.

The remaining unsold shares, totaling nearly 75.9 million, will be canceled according to the Board’s resolution on June 23rd.

With an offering price of VND 23,900 per share, KBC has raised over VND 4,162 billion. Its chartered capital has increased from over VND 7,676 billion to nearly VND 9,418 billion, equivalent to nearly 941.8 million shares in circulation.

Regarding the proceeds from the offering, the company plans to use them to restructure its debts, mainly to repay principal and interest on loans to two subsidiaries: Saigon Bac Giang Industrial Park JSC and Saigon Hai Phong Industrial Park JSC.
