With nearly 1.48 billion shares outstanding, MWG’s total dividend payout for this period amounts to almost VND 1,480 billion. The payment date is expected to be on August 8.
This is the first time in two years that MWG has increased its cash dividend ratio from 5% to 10%, fulfilling its plan. Since 2015, the company has consistently paid annual cash dividends. In the 2020-2021 period, the company distributed dividends in both cash and stocks.
Concurrently, MWG announced its business results for the first five months of 2025, with net revenue reaching VND 61,200 billion, a 13% increase compared to the same period last year. The two main chains, The Gioi Di Dong and Dien May Xanh, contributed nearly VND 41,000 billion, an 11% increase. The Bach Hoa Xanh chain achieved revenue of nearly VND 18,900 billion, a surge of over 19%.
Profits also improved. In Q1/2025, MWG reported a net profit of VND 1,546 billion, a 71% increase compared to the same period last year, making it the second most profitable quarter in the company’s history, second only to Q4/2021.

In the stock market, MWG shares are trading around VND 60,000 per share, up about 9% in the last three months. Liquidity has improved, with the average matched volume reaching over 8.7 million shares per session, higher than the 2025 average of 7.4 million shares per session.
