Mr. Le Van Ban, one of the households affected by the project, expressed his joy at the project’s commencement. According to Mr. Ban, Tan Thoi Hiep 21 road has been in a severe state of disrepair for many years, posing a danger to road users, especially the flooding situation after rains.
The upgrade and expansion of the road will contribute to completing the infrastructure, ensuring the travel and goods transportation needs of the people, improving the urban aesthetics, environmental sanitation, and flood prevention. Therefore, Mr. Ban continues to urge fellow residents to promptly hand over the land to ensure the project’s construction progress and jointly build a road that meets civilized urban aesthetic standards.

Vice Chairman of District 12 People’s Committee, Mr. Nguyen Minh Chanh, shared that the project has a total investment of VND 1,315 billion, including VND 1,023 billion for compensation, support, resettlement, and infrastructure relocation, and VND 292 billion for construction and related costs. The construction is expected to take place from June 2025 to the end of 2026.
This is one of the eight key projects and programs according to the Resolution of the Party Committee of District 12 for the term 2020-2025. The project aims to alleviate traffic congestion and ensure smooth connectivity, comprehensively address flooding in the area, improve urban aesthetics, enhance the living environment, and complete transportation and technical infrastructure.

In the past time, the People’s Committee of District 12 has been vigorously and urgently carrying out compensation, site clearance, and resettlement (accounting for 78% of the total investment capital). The Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of District 12 expressed his gratitude to the people for their sense of responsibility, consensus, support, and close coordination with the authorities, which has been decisive in completing the necessary procedures and ensuring the project’s commencement progress.
