Vietnam Airlines Planes Collide at Noi Bai International Airport

On June 27, a collision occurred between two Vietnam Airlines planes at Noi Bai International Airport, as reported by the airline. The incident took place while one plane, with the registration number VN-A863, was taxiing to the runway for its flight VN7205 from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City. It scraped its wing against the tail of another plane, registered VN-A338, which was stationary and preparing for its flight VN1804 from Hanoi to Dien Bien.

Following the incident, airport authorities promptly implemented emergency procedures to ensure the safety of passengers and crew. All passengers from both flights were provided alternative travel arrangements to continue their journeys.

An investigation is currently underway by relevant authorities, in collaboration with involved parties, to determine the cause of the accident.
