This dividend plan was approved by Gemadept’s shareholders at the 2025 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders held on June 24, 2025.
At the meeting, shareholders also passed the 2025 business plan with two scenarios: the registered scenario and the striving scenario. The registered scenario targets a revenue of VND 4,850 billion, a 100% increase compared to the 2024 performance; and a pre-tax profit of VND 1,800 billion, a 101% surge.
Meanwhile, the striving scenario aims for a revenue of VND 4,950 billion, a 121% jump, and a pre-tax profit from business activities of VND 2,000 billion, representing a 48% increase compared to the 2024 results.
Additionally, the Gemadept AGM approved a plan to repurchase up to 21 million GMD shares, equivalent to 5% of the total outstanding shares of the company, to protect the interests of the company and its shareholders when the market price of the shares is lower than their intrinsic value.
The total repurchase value based on par value is nearly VND 210.1 billion, which will be funded by the surplus according to the latest audited or reviewed consolidated financial statements.
The Board of Directors will execute this share repurchase plan when the company’s share price drops to less than 1.5 times the book value per share. The repurchase will be carried out after receiving written notification from the SSC about the receipt of the complete report on the company’s share repurchase.
If this share repurchase plan is successful, Gemadept’s charter capital will decrease from over VND 4,201.9 billion to VND 3,991.8 billion.
