“OCB Receives Approval for Capital Increase”
The State Bank of Vietnam has given the green light to OCB to increase its charter capital through a share issuance from the owner’s equity source as per the plan approved by the 2025 General Meeting of Shareholders. The issuance is expected to involve nearly 197.3 million shares, equivalent to a ratio of 8% (100:8, with each 100 shares entitling the holder to 8 rights, and each right receiving 1 new share).
The source of funding for this capital increase will come from the owner’s equity as of December 31, 2024, as per the audited separate and consolidated financial statements for the year 2024, after allocating funds to statutory reserves as per regulations.
If the issuance is successful, OCB’s charter capital will increase from VND 24,658 billion to VND 26,631 billion.
