As of June 30, 2025, the total wealth of the top 20 richest people in the Vietnamese stock market reached VND 509,800 billion, a significant increase of VND 162,600 billion (equivalent to a 47% rise) compared to the end of 2024.
Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong , Chairman of Vingroup, remains at the top with a wealth of 214,700 billion VND, an impressive increase of 123,600 billion VND in just the first six months of the year (a 136% rise). This also marks the most significant increase on the ranking. On average, Mr. Vuong’s wealth increased by 682 billion VND per day.
The amount of wealth added is larger than the value of many large enterprises such as Vinamilk, Masan, and numerous banks.
Notably, Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong’s wealth is almost equal to the total wealth of the next ten people on the list combined.
Ms. Pham Thu Huong, Vice Chairman of Vingroup, and Ms. Pham Thuy Hang, Ms. Huong’s sister, both witnessed a 136% increase in their wealth compared to 2024 due to their holdings of VIC shares in Vingroup.
Following in second place is Mr. Tran Dinh Long , Chairman of Hoa Phat Group, with a stable wealth of 44,900 billion VND, a slight increase of 1,000 billion VND (2%).
In third place, Mr. Do Anh Tuan (Chairman of Sunshine Group) saw a significant increase of 9,500 billion VND, reaching 33,700 billion VND (a 39% rise). The wealth of Techcombank’s leaders, such as Mr. Ho Hung Anh and his relatives, also recorded increases ranging from 12% to 39%.
On the other hand, some billionaires experienced decreases in their wealth compared to 2024, including Mr. Truong Gia Binh (FPT, down 22%), Mr. Nguyen Van Dat (Phat Dat, down 13%), Mr. Ho Xuan Nang (Vicostone, down 24%), Mr. Dao Huu Huyen (Chairman of Duc Giang Chemical, down 12%), and Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao (Chairman of Vietjet Air, down 12%).
