City Announces Resolutions and Decisions on Administrative Unit Amalgamation

On the morning of June 30, the City’s Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee held a ceremony to announce resolutions and decisions regarding the amalgamation of administrative units at the provincial and communal levels, the cessation of operations of administrative units at the district level, and the establishment of Party organizations, along with the appointment of key personnel for the People’s Councils, People’s Committees, and Fatherland Front Committees at the city, commune, ward, and special district levels.

The conference announced the decision of the City Party Committee to establish Party organizations for 168 wards, communes, and special districts, along with decisions on the appointment of key personnel for the Party Executive Committees, Standing Committees, Party Secretaries, and Deputy Secretaries. Additionally, decisions were announced regarding the appointment of personnel for the Inspection Commissions and their chairpersons, as well as the chairpersons and vice-chairpersons of the People’s Councils and People’s Committees at the ward, commune, and special district levels.
