City Announces Merger of Administrative Units and Introduces New Leadership

On the morning of June 30th, the City’s Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee held a ceremony to announce the Central and local resolutions and decisions regarding the merger of administrative units at the provincial and communal levels, the cessation of operations of administrative units at the district level, and the establishment of Party organizations, with designated Party cells, People’s Councils, People’s Committees, and Fatherland Front Committees for the city’s communes, wards, and special districts.

The conference announced the decision of the City Party Executive Committee to establish Party cells in 168 communes, wards, and special districts, along with decisions on the appointment of personnel for the Executive Board, Standing Board, Party Secretary, and Deputy Secretary. Additionally, decisions were announced regarding the appointment of the Inspection Commission and its chairman, as well as the chairman and vice-chairmen of the People’s Council and the People’s Committee.
