The Vietnamese elevator and escalator market is booming, with a reported size of approximately US$443.52 million in 2024 by Credence Research. With a remarkable CAGR of 7.65%, the industry is expected to reach a value of nearly US$800 million by 2032, making it one of the fastest-growing markets in Southeast Asia.

Vietnam currently has over 480,000 operational elevator units, and the demand for new installations ranges from 40,000 to 45,000 units annually. With an urban population of approximately 42% of the total population of over 100 million, there is a significant need for vertical transportation infrastructure in social housing projects, shopping malls, urban areas, and public works.

Iconic projects such as Ho Chi Minh City’s Metro Line 1, Hanoi’s metro lines, the first phase of Long Thanh International Airport, and large urban areas like Vinhomes Grand Park, Ocean Park, and Ecopark are fueling the growth of the elevator industry.

Against this backdrop, the 4th International Elevator Exhibition (Elevator Expo 2025), organized by the Vietnam Elevator Association (VNEA) in collaboration with VINEXAD, will officially take place from December 4-6 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.

In 2025, the scale of the exhibition has grown by nearly 30% in terms of participating businesses and exhibition space, reflecting the strong appeal and sustainable development of Vietnam’s elevator industry.

The exhibition is not just a showcase of advanced technology but also a platform for in-depth exchanges on technical solutions integrated with architectural aesthetics and safety and sustainability standards.
