Also attending the event were Hoang Trung Dung, Editor-in-Chief of Communist Magazine; Nguyen Duy Lam, Secretary of Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee; Vo Trong Hai, Chairman of Ha Tinh People’s Committee; Do Thanh Trung, Deputy Minister of Finance; and representatives of ministries, sectors, and local authorities.

Nguyen Viet Quang, CEO of Vingroup, shared that within just seven months since its inception, VinFast has completed and operated a second modern electric car factory in Vietnam, setting a record for factory completion progress. This once again clearly demonstrates the spirit of “Speed – Determination – Effectiveness.”
The VinFast Ha Tinh electric car factory covers an area of 360,000 square meters and consists of main workshops, including body welding, painting, assembly, and many modern auxiliary areas. The production line is highly automated and operates according to strict international standards for quality management, environmental protection, and the global automotive industry’s regulations.

By building an auxiliary industrial cluster within the factory premises and attracting domestic enterprises to join the supply chain, VinFast Ha Tinh also contributes to realizing the localization goal of over 80% by 2026 for VinFast.

Moreover, with a sustainable development spirit of “For a Green Vietnam,” VinFast has oriented its factory operation towards a green, clean, and efficient model by utilizing renewable energy, strictly controlling emissions, recycling materials, and gradually applying AI in management and production error detection.

Notably, the factory is expected to create nearly 6,000 direct jobs in the initial phase and potentially expand to 15,000 workers in the future, thereby contributing to improving the local people’s lives and social welfare.
In the immediate future, the VinFast factory in Ha Tinh will focus on producing strategic urban electric car models such as VF 3, Minio Green, and EC Van. These models have great potential and are designed to meet the domestic market’s demands and export to international markets.

The inauguration of the VinFast Ha Tinh electric car factory marks a crucial milestone in VinFast’s long-term development strategy and global production expansion. Once operational, the factory will significantly contribute to VinFast’s goal of producing 1 million vehicles per year to meet the rising demands of domestic and overseas markets.
