VinFast Ha Tinh: Setting a New Benchmark in Automotive Manufacturing Excellence

Nguyen Viet Quang, CEO of Vingroup, said that in less than 7 months since its launch, VinFast has completed and put into operation a second modern electric car factory in Vietnam, setting a record for the completion speed of a factory, once again clearly demonstrating the spirit of “Speed – Determination – Effectiveness.”

The VinFast Electric Car Factory in Ha Tinh covers an area of 360,000 square meters and consists of main workshops, including body welding, painting, assembly, and many modern auxiliary areas; the production line is highly automated and operates according to strict international standards for quality management, environmental protection, and global automotive industry standards.

Through the construction of an auxiliary industrial cluster within the factory complex, attracting domestic enterprises to participate in the supply chain, VinFast Ha Tinh also contributes to the realization of the localization goal of over 80% by 2026 for VinFast.

In addition, with the spirit of sustainable development “For a Green Vietnam”, from the construction stage, VinFast has oriented the operation of the factory towards a green, clean, and efficient model through the use of renewable energy, strict emission control, material recycling, and the gradual application of AI in management and production error detection.

Notably, the factory is expected to create nearly 6,000 direct jobs in the initial phase and can expand to 15,000 employees in the future, thereby contributing to improving the lives of local people and social security.

In the immediate future, the VinFast factory in Ha Tinh will focus on producing strategic urban electric car models such as VF 3, Minio Green, and EC Van – models with great potential that meet the domestic market demand and are suitable for export to international markets.

The inauguration of the VinFast Electric Car Factory in Ha Tinh is an important milestone in VinFast’s long-term development strategy and global production expansion. When put into operation, the factory will make an important contribution to VinFast’s goal of producing 1 million cars per year to meet the increasing demand of the domestic and international markets.
