VinWonders Vũ Yên – A Grand Opening of Northern Vietnam’s Largest Theme Park and Zoo

On July 1st, Vinpearl officially inaugurated VinWonders Vu Yen, spanning almost 20 hectares and boasting the region’s largest theme park and zoo.

The zoo at VinWonders Vu Yen features a nearly 7-hectare “mini wildland” with nearly 2,000 rare animal species representing over 67 species, including Bengal tigers, white rhinos, lions, kangaroos, and lemurs. Notably, it also houses a 3,000-square-meter aviary with one of the most diverse bird collections in Vietnam, housing over 1,600 individuals.

The theme park is divided into two distinct zones: Warrior Land and Fairy World, offering nearly 80 indoor and outdoor attractions. Warrior Land features the first-ever Switchback Coaster 460 in Southeast Asia, while Fairy World presents 13 outdoor rides, a gaming world with 54 varieties, and 159 gaming machines.

Aloha Island, a water park spanning over 2 hectares, boasts 10 water attractions, including the Twister slide complex stretching 738 meters, a 40-meter-high slide tower, a wave pool, and a lazy river. The water park will open in phases, and guests can already enjoy challenges like the “Wonderland Adventure,” “Hawaiian Tsunami,” and “Rain Dance” during the grand opening.

The VinWonders Vu Yen complex also includes a vibrant promenade with over 200 food and shopping stalls, the K-Park Korean Cultural Park, and the European Square – the “heart of festivals” that hosts weekly musical fountain shows, light displays, and grand firework celebrations.

Additionally, the Royal Avenue commercial street spans over 2 hectares and accommodates 28 shophouses for a unique shopping and dining experience. Other notable amenities include the 36-hole Vinpearl Golf Hai Phong, Vinpearl Horse Academy, Vinhomes Royal Island marina, and the largest Go-Kart track in Hai Phong. The Vincom Mega Mall Royal Island is slated to open in Q3 2025.

Ticket prices start at an affordable 200,000 VND. Currently, VinWonders Vu Yen offers a 20% discount on entrance fees from July 1st to 8th, 2025, for all customers who book online.

Local visitors can easily access VinWonders Vu Yen via the Vu Yen and Royal Avenue bridges (scheduled to open on July 15th). Those traveling from other provinces can opt for road, water, or air transport, with convenient connections via the Hanoi-Hai Phong-Quang Ninh highway, the upscale marina, and the nearby Cat Bi International Airport, just a 15-minute drive away.

VinBus is also introducing complimentary electric bus routes from downtown Hai Phong to Vinhomes Royal Island, ensuring seamless connectivity to this entertainment hub.
