The top 10 localities that actively organized the most exam sessions and had the largest number of applications include: Ho Chi Minh City (298 sessions, 111,060 applications), Can Tho (126 sessions, 45,591 applications), Lam Dong (112 sessions, 51,207 applications), Gia Lai (97 sessions, 31,031 applications), Dong Nai (62 sessions, 26,452 applications), Dak Lak (69 sessions, 29,740 applications), Hai Phong (89 sessions, 35,783 applications), Nghe An (79 sessions, 26,600 applications), Tay Ninh (59 sessions, 24,367 applications), and Vinh Long (50 sessions, 25,008 applications).

Additionally, 14 localities have resolved all cases of applicants who completed their training programs before March 1, including: Bac Ninh (6,782 applications), Ca Mau (1,987 applications), Lao Cai (5,438 applications), Ninh Binh (9,235 applications), Quang Tri (1,922 applications), Son La (9,569 applications), Thai Nguyen (6,294 applications), Dien Bien (505 applications), Dong Nai (13,033 applications), Thanh Hoa (11,413 applications), Hue City (9,140 applications), Tuyen Quang (13,085 applications), and Nghe An (1,091 applications).

According to the Traffic Police Department, there are still 36,840 cases of applicants who completed their training programs before March 1 left to be examined (including 26,502 Category C applications, accounting for 72.6%). The local police units continue to organize exams and are expected to complete them by August 2025.

The neighborhood of Binh Duong, in Ho Chi Minh City, underwent a transformation with a unique twist. The original four wards, upon merging, encountered an unusual challenge—a numbering system for their streets that led to duplication. In a creative resolution, the streets were renamed, with a nod to their historical roots. The new names now bear the prefix of the old ward, followed by a number, except for one street, which, in a break from the pattern, was renamed after a distinct landmark, thus preserving its unique identity.
