
From July 25 to September 30, Epson Vietnam launched the “Minimizing Plastic Waste 2025” campaign in collaboration with the social enterprise Limloop and the Thiso Mall Sala shopping center.
A highlight of the campaign is the Regeneration Station – an experiential space on the ground floor of Thiso Mall, where participants can directly engage in creative recycling activities.
Throughout the campaign, Epson organized three main activities: nylon bag collection, handicraft workshops, and recycled product exhibitions. Suitable packaging was collected at multiple locations, including Epson offices, the Regeneration Station, and Limloop centers, and then processed and used as materials for the workshops.
At the Regeneration Station, workshops were held daily from 10 am to 2 pm until August 31, where participants could make bags from nylon, wallets from old banners, or artwork from plastic packaging under the guidance of the Limloop team. Some special workshops also featured content creators to attract young people and families.
The campaign was also implemented internally at Epson, with nylon collection and exclusive workshops for employees to promote green living habits within the company. These activities clarified the difference between traditional recycling (recycling) and upgraded recycling (upcycling).

Meanwhile, the Regeneration Station displayed recycled art pieces from Limloop, with clear annotations on the origin of the materials to raise awareness about waste reusability.
To encourage community participation, Epson implemented a flexible ticketing mechanism: purchasing Epson printer products on e-commerce platforms would include a free entry ticket, or one could donate 50 nylon bags in exchange for a workshop ticket.
“Creative recycling does not require complex technology or large investments, but can start with materials that would otherwise be discarded,” emphasized Nakata Ippei, Director of Epson Vietnam. “With this year’s campaign, we aim to establish a practical model for action, enabling individuals to contribute to positive change.”
The campaign is a collaborative effort between Epson, Limloop, and Thiso Mall to bring the concept of recycling closer to daily life through concrete, practical, and accessible actions.
