Agreements between Vietnamese ministries, localities, and their South Korean counterparts:

Hanoi city and One Law Partners (OLP) will collaborate to develop investment plans and promote the development of Hoa Lac High-Tech Park.

Hai Phong city and SK LEAVEO CO, LTD. will work together to promote green growth initiatives in Hai Phong.

Can Tho city and SK Innovation will cooperate to develop diverse and clean energy technology solutions.

Khanh Hoa province and SK Innovation will collaborate to develop the Specialized Energy Industrial Complex (SEIC), including LNG investment, distributed energy resources (DER), and related logistics industries.

Ca Mau province and SK Innovation have signed a strategic cooperation agreement to develop the SEIC, including LNG projects and initiatives to develop regional industrial and agricultural industries.

Bac Ninh province and Si Flex will work together to expand Si Flex’s investment and projects in the province’s industrial parks.

Viet Nam News Agency and Yonhap News Agency of the Republic of Korea will enhance cooperation in news exchange and professional activities in the new period.

Agreements in the fields of energy and industry:

Vietnam Electricity (EVN) and Hyosung Heavy Industries Corp. will collaborate on STATCOM projects and smart grid equipment in Vietnam, including potential local production of transformers.

Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PVN); Vietnam Oil and Gas Technical Services Corporation (PTSC); SK Innovation; and LS ECO ENERGY signed a strategic cooperation agreement between PVN and SK Innovation and an agreement with LS ECO ENERGY to invest in and operate a high-voltage cable manufacturing plant in Vietnam to serve renewable energy projects.

Vietnam Maritime Corporation (VIMC) and Hyundai Group will establish a joint venture to build new ships.

Vietnam Airlines Corporation and Korean Air will establish a joint venture to provide aircraft maintenance services at Long Thanh International Airport and cooperate in cargo transportation.

The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) will strengthen cooperation in energy, artificial intelligence (AI), high-tech agriculture, and logistics.

KN Holdings Corporation and Samsung C&T will develop three floating solar power projects: KN SRÊPÔK 3 and KN IALY GIA LAI KONTUM.

Peridot Energy Vietnam and Gas Entec have agreed to strategically cooperate in the field of green fuels.

The Green Solutions and BIONANOKOREA will collaborate to develop a green hydrogen and ammonia value chain in the Korean market.

Agreements in the fields of digital infrastructure, digital transformation, and supply chains:

Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group will cooperate with KIRA and LG CNS in the field of data centers, including potential joint investment in a data center in Vietnam with an initial capacity of 20-30 MW, as well as joint operation and business development in the Vietnamese market.

Truong Hai Auto Corporation (THACO) and Hyundai Rotem will collaborate on research, development, and implementation of urban and high-speed railway projects in Vietnam.

CMC Corporation and Samsung C&T will work together to develop AI data centers and promote digital transformation in Vietnam.

Viettel Military Industry and Telecoms Group (Viettel) and KT Corporation will strategically cooperate to develop AI solutions and the AX platform, contributing to Vietnam’s AI and digital transformation strategies.

Saigon Telecommunications Technology Corporation (SaigonTel-SGT); G-GROUP; ZUP; and Korea Technology and Future (KTNF) will collaborate to develop a leading data center ecosystem and server platform in Vietnam.

Phu My Investment Group and Eric C&C will cooperate to develop an automated port, smart logistics solutions, and digital infrastructure for Phu My Port.

Vietnam Rubber Group and New Korea Trading Corp. signed an agreement for the consumption of high-tech agricultural products in the Korean market.

Viet Phuc Company and MIDAS HOIDING CO., LTD. will cooperate to develop a fruit preservation system, build a cold logistics processing facility, and expand cooperation in other fields within the agricultural value chain.

Agreements in finance, banking, services, and tourism:

The National Innovation Center (NIC) and Nextrans; the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) will cooperate in innovation and startup investment and support the formation and development of the National Innovation Fund.

BIDV and Hana Bank will collaborate on cross-border payment services via QR codes from South Korea to Vietnam, with Hana and BIDV serving as intermediary payment banks.

Saigontourist Group – Saigon Exhibition and Convention Joint Venture Company, Saigontourist Travel Company, Vietnam Airlines, and the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO); Hana Tour; and COEX Convention and Exhibition Center will strengthen cooperation in tourism services and digital technology in transportation, aviation, services, and tourism between Vietnam and South Korea.

Military Bank and SK Innovation, Seojin System will cooperate to provide financial and banking services in Vietnam.

Vinpearl Joint Stock Company and Hana Tour; HKG; and Marketing Highlands will work together to promote tourism between Vietnam and South Korea.

CT Group and Airbility; Imagis; and Inha University (South Korea) will cooperate with Airbility to export 5,000 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), with Imagis to export 100 million semiconductor chips, and with Inha University to train and transfer semiconductor technology.

EPSI Trading and Service Company and Myongji Medical Foundation will cooperate to develop, operate, and manage leading elderly care, convalescent, and rehabilitation hospitals in the Ho Tram – Xuyen Moc area.

Agreements in high-quality human resource training:

Hanoi National University and Sungkyunkwan University; KEPCO-KDN will cooperate in training high-quality human resources, exchanging lecturers, and implementing applied research and technology transfer, especially in the fields of semiconductors, biotechnology, and biomedical engineering.

Hanoi University of Technology will cooperate with Hyosung Dong Nai, Pohang University of Science and Technology, Kyungpook National University, and Seoul National University’s College of Engineering to exchange students and lecturers, provide internships, and train high-quality human resources in strategic technologies, scientific research, and technology transfer.

Vietnam Railway Transportation Joint Stock Company and SR will collaborate to develop human resources in the construction, engineering, and operation management of high-speed railways and urban railway signal systems.

FPT Corporation; FPT University and Gachon University; and Abov Semiconductor will cooperate in the 2+2 semiconductor training program, combining training with enterprise, enhancing the quality of research, and fostering the expertise of semiconductor lecturers.

Dai Nam University and Yeungnam University have agreed to cooperate in the 2+2 joint training program in the semiconductor industry.

Post and Telecommunications Institute of Technology and Chung Ang University will offer a dual-degree training program in multimedia technology and establish a Vietnam-Korea converged virtual university model, researching and developing technology applications in the cultural industry.

University of Transport and Communications Technology and Korea National University of Transportation will implement a dual bachelor’s degree program in high-speed railway engineering, providing training and internships for lecturers in high-speed railways and accepting students.

Duy Tan University and Chungbuk National University have agreed to implement a dual bachelor’s degree program and master’s degree linkage training (with tuition exemption for Duy Tan University students) in technology, AI, semiconductors, and other fields. They have also agreed to cooperate in scientific research between lecturers of the two universities to form strong research groups in technology and AI with the support of the Korean government.
