As early as August, the country has been bustling with preparations for the grand celebration: the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution’s success and National Day on September 2nd. A series of heroic events and programs filled with national pride have been organized.
Not wanting to be left behind, NCB also sparked curiosity by revealing that they will be launching the next product in their ‘Pride’ card series, following the successful launch of their ‘Unity’ card in May. This new card series uniquely expresses love for the homeland and is the bank’s special project for 2025. According to NCB, this product, from its design to the user experience, promises to be exceptionally unique and is expected to continue captivating its users.

Previously, this “small but powerful” bank surprised the market by launching a special edition credit card named “Unity” just before the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and the unification of Vietnam (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2025). The card features an iconic image: the historic moment of tanks rolling into the Independence Palace. Upon its release, the ‘Unity’ card made a strong impression and attracted thousands of customers to sign up through NCB’s digital platforms and hotline. It is not just a financial product with a host of privileges enabling convenient global transactions but also the first and only card in the financial market associated with the historical events of April 30 and May 1, imbued with the national pride of the Vietnamese people.
The ‘Pride’ Card – Carrying Vietnam in Your Heart, Taking Vietnam to the World
Although detailed information about this special financial product has not yet been disclosed, according to the latest update on NCB’s official channels, the new card will be launched on August 18, right before the 80th National Day celebrations. The ‘Pride’ card will feature two unique designs and offer exclusive privileges to its holders. The bank is all set for the official launch of these two special and meaningful cards.

Although the card design has not been fully revealed, from the sneak peeks provided by the bank, it is evident that the ‘Pride’ card is steeped in national spirit, featuring a vibrant red color reminiscent of the national flag, coupled with elegant design elements. Subtle hints of the national flag, the Dong Son drum, the map of Vietnam, and the historic moment of the Declaration of Independence being proclaimed at Ba Dinh Square can be discerned, evoking a sense of national pride in every Vietnamese heart. And just these subtle hints are enough to stir the emotions of patriotic individuals.
